So I am in Florida and my dads shower valve broke off. I call for service to a company that GUARANTEES 24x7 anytime day or night service.

First the dispatcher had terrible phone skills and then she tells me they do not work on holidays?????

On call guy calls me back and in broken English says where u at. I explain the location and he says we no go there. I explain you ad say's you cover this area. He says sorry I no go there and hangs up.

Went and fixed a mixer this morning at a pizza place. $70
$300 and I would have had to stay longer waiting for the ambulance to come pick him up off the floor.

In fact, there are a number of local ph books where we proudly advertise our company as 23/7

With one small catch , if you're obnoxious, if you've no $$$, or if you even remotely smell like a hard $$$, we will inform you (in our best Forest Gump drawl) that it's simply NOT your hour!

When things go easier or the ride is shorter than usual, that means that YOU should have made more money. It doesn't mean that you pass 150% of that savings over to the customer.

Most people wouldn't do a normal weekday call for that little.

A guy from up North here was visiting down in Miami. Wanting to get in on the local scene he goes to the bar and orders a drink. A native noticed that he was nervously glancing around and asked him what the trouble was. I would not post on the internet that your working during a sask game, i belive that is a crime that they punish with the death penalty there.
