Howdy, I have a problem I'd like to get some feedback on before I consult a local electrician or the power co. I have a rental property, house and shop rented separately, where we have some 3 ph tools in the shop. In order to run those tools, I installed a phase converter. All works well except that when one turns on the converter there is a significant, but brief, power drop in the house. I think that future renters won't really like that. What are possible solutions to this problem? Thanks for any help/ideas!

The local electrician you contact will give you the possible solutions.

As the landlord, you are not legally permitted to work on the electrical system
