The drive has a maximum current capacity, based on the ability of the power components and heat sink to dissipate heat resulting from current flow. If something is trying to pull more current for too long and that capacity is exceeded, the drive shuts down to protect itself. Determining what it is or was that caused that to happen is your challenge. Generally it is one of three classes of causes; a misapplication, a failure in the drive or a failure in the load. From the information you have given so far, there is no way to take it further than that. But if it was a failure in the drive, sometimes this is the final fault to show up, because it is the one that shut the drive down. Look in the fault history first to see of there were any events that preceded this.Anyone have any experance with power flex 70 drives,
I have a fault code 12.
cant get the drive to reset.
code 12 is" the drive output current has exeeded the hardware current.
any ideas??
