It's been about 9 years since I took my J-man test, but I took mine in Somerville on the computer. Open book, whole test. Basic, no-scientific calculator allowed. You can write as many notes in the blank pages as you want, nothing stapled in, but I glued in a very small version of the Tom Henry keyword lookup. Turned out I didn't need any of the notes. From just the repetetive studying, double checking the Tom Henry keyword index, and really tough pressure from co-workers, I flew through the test. If you know it, you know it.
