Small services... billboards, bus shelters, telephone booths, some signs, etc. I have done all of this in the past, but not for about 20 years or so... don't know where the utilities stand on that anymore.

Cheers

Ontario code book says you can use Teck or ACWU on over head services.... what do you do with the ground inside on the weather head side? Also on the meter base do you use a ground bushing and put the ground under the lug?

The conductors in ACWU aren’t S rated for sunlight. You need to transition to your riser with a JB and use a Teck connector on the ACWU.

Overhead you need to carry a ground so you need quadraplex if it’s 240V.
I disagree. Northern Cable is Sun Res rated and allowed for service entrance.
I've used a regular service head with no problem.

What did you do with the other grounds at your cottage?

Hey just wondering what you do with the ground on each end? Looking to do this at the cottage... Thanks!
Cut it off.
You don't have a ground in a PVC riser
