In Alberta, first year was only DC, Ohm's Law in DC circuits. Mostly residential wiring questions were asked. There is a website that has thousands of past questions from TQ exams, Iy costs a bit of money, but it looks well worth it if attempying to write off a year or so of school. This site has sample questions similar to those asked by gov't. journyman exam they may have others that suit your purpace better, you'll have to look for it,

I probably wouldn't have pased year 3 & 4 if I hadn't taken 1&2!!!
