Ive seen them in the sh monthly sales flyer. Im freezing my @$$ off at work right now. Wondering if they are worthy.
Anyone use the battery powered Milwaukee outerwear?

Wore mine today and every day its chilly. Keeps my body toasty warm.. doesn't help the hands or feet or head though.

Cabela's sells heated outerwear. They have gloves that connect to the jacket. I don't remember the pricing, but it might be something to check out.

Not long enough, I'll admit that.
Depends on the temperature setting (High/Med/Low) and probably how cold it is outside.. but definitely 2 batteries a day of the small m12 batteries.
You can also use an XC m12 battery or an M18 battery even if you can't swap batteries. I have a sheetload of those little m12 batteries though, so I just swap when it's dead.

an 18 might be annoying plugged into the coat...lol
I was thinking about those the other day. I started a thread back in 2011 about them and was curious how they lasted

I think an m12 XC would be more annoying because of the odd shape.
But honestly I can't even tell I have the little m12 battery plugged in. It's in a good spot where you don't bump it or anything.
I like the jacket. Winter is too cold no matter where you live.

I have one. It is too loose it dosent help as much as a good hat and long johns for me. But your milage may vary.
I've had my heated jacket for a year (or two) and my only complaint is that it has no hood. When I bought it, this jacket was the only option (red no hood). I still wear it every cool day and use the heat on cold days.
The durability of the actual outside material is excellent. I've had plenty of times where I thought for sure it would rip, but there wasn't a mark on the jacket. The left hand pocket did rip at some point though, so the inside of the pocket leads to the inside oft he jacket. It's obviously not a deal breaker to me, but the pockets weren't all that tough.
A contractor that I work with has the hoodie and he loves it! He can't stop talking about it.

The regular battery lasts about 2 hours straight on high.

That isnt too bad. If I can manage to keep a couple batteries in rotation sounds like an option!

It heats the body but I find only my arms, fingers, and feet get cold.
So I never bothered purchasing one, I just wear thermal shirts, hoodie, carhart jacket and i'm warm all day.
