I had to move my van last night in order to back the car in. Forgot to plug it back in. Now I'm stranded with a cold dead diesel blocking my driveway. My choices for today was one out of two new builds to deal with, one waterfront, the other field front, both cold.
Sitting in front of my computer with my trusty oil filled electric heater next to me , it's even too damn cold to go out and sit in the hot tub.

Why would you quote a pilot about something scientific. "Arctic specialist" is a little misleading seeing how his specialty has nothing to do with climatology.

Got Maude started, she is miserable in sub cold weather. Matilda (my gas van) starts right up with the usual piston knock until she warms up.

Block heater, battery wrap, or both?

Major warm up here. Only -2F here tonight!! Yesterday was brutal. Had to fix a broken spring on my trailer. Came home and the alarm went off on the septic system. Pipe was frozen in the outdoor pumping tank.
