Bidding Websites project searching

Hello everyone I'm new to the business and wanted to know if anyone knows any websites were I can bid on electrical projects? Or can anyone tell me the best way to get started and find projects.

I can give you the bet tip I recieved when I started out. Go out and beat the streets. Knock on doors, hang flyers, put ads in the paper, make phone calls, do whatever you have to do to get people to know you are in business.

I don't know of any on-line sources, but google "Construction Plan Room" and your state and you'll find a source of plans you can go bid on.

Yes, a person's track record speaks volumes.

However it takes a while to establish that record.

I was very fortunate in I had been working for two respected contractors in my area, when I was let go work traveled to customers I had worked with, they called me, in lieu of my old employer.
