There is almost nothing in this world that would cause me to go shopping on the busiest shopping day.

We rented a condo at a lake away from civilization for the holiday and the weekend. Quiet, no stores, peaceful. :)
I'm with you on that ! But you can shop online  Wife wanted to go skiing, but I was thinking of all the crowds.

My wife will go into a panic attack if she went into any stores on black Friday. She can only take large crowds for a certain amount of time before she goes bi-polar.

Me on the other hand, ill push, kick and shove my way through 100 people just to save $50 on a power tool. I just dont want to get up early to stand in line, that crap is for the birds!

Already went there ! Bought a Chicago Portaband for $89.00 A real one was about $300.

Bought (2) step bits for $17.99 !!!

Padded furniture pads that I pay $15 @ HD for $8.00

Harbor Freight is mostly crap but there are a few gems hidden there

I actually have a couple of their step bits and they actually work and last

Im with you on the furniture pads. I buy moving blankets/furniture pads from there or Northern Tool when theyre on sale. Normally pay around $5 - $6.

Another surprisingly good tool is their oscillating tool. With a coupon and tax, its definitely worth $17.

I most definitely will be wandering into HD and Lowe's sometime tomorrow. Power tools and hand tools are just 2 things you can never have enough of...

...and maybe some of that red licorice they used to sell at movie theatres when I was a kid...:)

Back home now, I should have, the panel was behind a cabinet door.

No cabinet, just the frame and the door mounted over flush mounted panel in a modern Sheetrock wall.

Someone must have thought the panel was ugly (it looked like any 1990s flush panel) and decided a Formica cabinet door and frame over it would look better.

It was located in a hallway to a bathroom and bedroom.

These days I don't stay anywhere over night.. rather be in my own home..

But I used to take day trips and stay overnight where ever I got tired of driving....

My tools were always in my trunk and if there was a electrical panel in the room... I would look inside...

Only way to see how other parts of the country do things..:eek:
