Just replaced a wall pack light on an older building. fed from rigid conduit cut flush with the block. To ensure it is bonded would just bonding the other end suffice? There was a bonding conductor pulled.

if the other side of the pipe was mechanically bonded to ground. would that suffice or does both ends have to be bonded?

Technically the conduit needs to be mechanically continuous. If it was feasible I'd cut out that section and put in another piece that is 7/8" longer.
