Im looking into getting some good books that will help me learn code and other useful knowledge any suggestions? Besides the nec code book.
. Tom Henry and mike holt both offer very good books for teaching theory , calculations and code navigating . The NEC handbook is also very helpful because of its illustrations . If you're an apprentice , you should or will be getting taught the essentials soon enough . Knowing the whole NEC is a daunting task , but knowing where to find what you're looking for is a more realistic goal for most . Good luck !
