I made some mistakes when I was younger and was convicted of two felonies one for sending a threat to someone and one for possession of marijuana in a state that doesn't have medical marijuana.

Will criminal convictions like these cause any problems for my certification or for obtaining journeyman status in California?

(I have passed the local union entrance procedure as well as their test and am awaiting a date for my oral interview.)

Why should it affect electricians it doesn't seem to hurt congressmen from staying office.

In answer to your question I am sorry I do not know the answer.
