Can anyone tell me what this tool is, and what its used for? Ive tried to figure this out on my own, but I am at the point I am just going to give up and ask for help in a community of people who might know.

I hate you guys... lol This was in a bucket of random tools that was in a storage unit I bought and I'm just trying to learn things  Once I figure out what it is, I'll determine if its going to end up on the 'just in case' shelves in my garage, or on my flea market table for 5$. Or in the garbage...
Regardless i'd like to know what it does lol. It kinda looks like a bigger version of my volt meter, but it has clamps on the end?

How can you expect anyone to take this question seriously, when it says right on the scale what it is?
You are smart enough to know how to post pictures on this forum, but didn't think to use Google or ebay :eek:

And, it looks like a recent clone of my Dads old amp meter.

I'll give you $5 for it.
I'll have to get it framed.
It will sit on a shelf...
