I have an outlet that has two separate sets of wires coming into it. A 3/1 with black, red, and white on the left, powered by breaker one, and a 2/1 with a black and white on the right, powered by breaker two. I believe the 3/1 is for a half-hot and the 2/1 is for a switch. When I installed a switch and flipped it on, I blew the fuse. What am I doing wrong?
