Capacitors

I'm starting to do a lot of smaller motor (3/4-1.5)hp motor Capacitor replacements. Any suggestions on any distributors? Don't know if they make a meter that I could check the Capacitor in the circuit? Just asking, thanks a lot.

I have a standard Fluke 117 multimeter, it has a capacitance feature.

Grainger has start & run caps but they're kinda spendy. Just Google it.

Sure they do. Measures Farads or micro farads.
Just checking the capacitance value is not an accurate way to test caps!

You need to check the impedance.
Technically known as "ESR"
or equivelent series resistance.

Again a special ESR meter is used.
