Ok, had an old ceiling fan that did not have a remote. New ceiling fan does. In the ceiling I have x2 red, x2 black, x2 white (fan is operated from two switches). I have x1 black and x1 white coming from the remote box to the ceiling. The previous fan had X2 red merretted together in the ceiling, x2 black merretted in the ceiling and then the x2 white from ceiling connected to the X1 black and x1 white from the remote wire box. This works, but the light randomly turns off and the fan randomly turns on, so I know this cannot be correct. Just need to know what to do with my x6 ceiling wires going to the x2 input wires to the remote wire box. Thank you in advance! It can also be noted that the remote wire box out has blue white and black that all correspond to wires coming out of the fan unit.
