I need help finding the right box and hanger for a ceiling that's being installed in a house I'm working in. It's a metal chicago grid ceiling and they're attaching 5/8 drywall to it. The actual metal grid seems to be a little taller than a regular drop ceiling grid and I'm afraid my boxes aren't going to sit flush. But going to a 2 1/8" deep box would be too much. Any suggestions on how to get my boxes to sit perfect? Do they make a hanger that adjusts height wise?

Well I'm still having a hard time finding a box hanger that will work. Every hanger I've found for suspended ceilings is 24". I need one that has a 16" span. None are adjustable like a normal box hanger is for wooden joists. Is it okay to use a typical box hanger, the ones that are like 2 dollars, on a suspended ceiling?
