Today we had a cl dimmer that when flipped on it would take half a second to fire up it was heating up a bit so i thought loose connection checked all connections found a loose nuetral in box fixed that switched dimmer with a new one and still delayed. One guy said it's cuz it's on a 3 way four way but that doesn't make sense any thoughts?

ive found that dimmers on three and four ways are nothing but trouble! the dimmer has to be on for the rest of switches to work right, and what HO is getting that with three kids running around?:whistling2:

Nonsense. People get used to how things operate in a house very quickly.

I have seen bathrooms where a cheap flooring guy put a small heating mat under the tile in the middle of the bathroom and the home owners learn to take giant steps just to step on the warm floor.

Half the dimmers I put in are switched from different locations.

Yeah it is Lutron cfl and the lights are cans with mini halogens 39 watt theres 11 of them with a draw of 429 watts the dimmers are rated for 600 so its not a draw issue i guess thats how it goes. Drives me nuts though.
