Okay so here is the deal, I'm installing power in a CL1 DV1 location my pipe coming out of the ground at the classified location is all good rigid with E-Y into controller, no problem. But at the other end of the underground run, I transitioned back to rigid with a rigid 90 and stub up to another E-Y. The distance from the classified location to the power source is 150'.

My question is this, after the E-Y do I have to stay in rigid or can I transition back to PVC? Reason, I'm asking is because I have to come up from the underground to the outside of the building and then LB into the building and hit the back of the power panel. Tomorrow I have my underground inspection and I'm going to ask the inspector his opinion. I've read the code article several times today but cannot make sense of the unclassified location after the E-Y.

I would much rather play with 1.25" PVC instead of 1.25" rigid.
