In my opinion your better off without them,just look at the top of the page and the and the code article for that page is printed on the top corner.
I agree, I put them on once only to cut them back off.

They did not really help and they rip the pages.

Put some post it notes in the spots you always use.

Tabs can be good for testing, but a book in the vehicle you will find they rip the pages. My handbook on my desk has tabs, and the softback in my work car does not.
I use a paper clip on the top of the page on the sections I seem to use a lot.
