Hello everyone!

A friend of mine is giving me the opportunity of been the first bib on a small commercial job. I have to run five 20amps, 3phase circuits with a distance of 75' to 100' max. Everything will be done in EMT in a 15' high ceiling.
Most of my experience is residential in the long island, NY area.
I'm one man chop, licensed and ensured
My question is,
How much will be a fair price?

add up your costs, add your labor and profit, as well as any equipment you need. add your overhead for licenses and insurance, work comp, etc. and I guess that's your bib.

my quick estimate is $2820, but I'm not a contractor yet either (still debating if its worth it)...

How much conduit will you run? Are all circuits in different places requiring individual conduits or can you run some together? Are you using a lift?

In some spaces I will, most of the work needs to be done on ladders.

There are too many variables to comment. Take the job for what you think it's worth and keep track of your real hours and costs once you complete it. Even with small jobs, maintain a file of estimated cost vs. actual so you have a little bit of a database for future bidding.

If you're like me when I started out, I should have been taking my estimate and at least doubling it to arrive at something reasonable.

Heck the breakers alone could be that much if it is an EHB or similar panel.
