It is actually an easy to remember/ associate name if it is a service company. It stands out, and out of say fifty names in the phone book, somebody will probably remember "Shocker" electric first when thinking about calling for an electrical company since they made an association in their head between the two.

I've always wondered if it's better to have a catchy name like "Shocker" or something basic like your last name (e.g. Sullivan Electric).

I'd imagine the catchy name is more memorable, but I feel like if it's not great it could seem corny.
