conduit in wet location

I have been looking in my code book, and cannot find it! :censored:

What article says that the inside of a conduit is the same as the outside - If it is installed in a wet location, the interior is also a wet location. (W rated conductors required). I was arguing this today with someone, and I couldn't find the article.

Thanks Pierre! Thats 1/2, what about when the conduit is just outside, not underground?

That would be a dry location.
Location, Wet.

Location, Wet.

Installations under ground or in concrete slabs or masonry in direct contact with the earth; in locations subject to saturation with water or other liquids, such as vehicle washing areas; and in unprotected locations exposed to weather. See also Table 310.13
