There may be a thread already on this, but what kind of crimpers does everyone use? In particular, which ratcheting crimpers do you use? I've used some nice thomas and betts ones, but they are big money. What do you recommend? Usually when I am crimping it's stak-ons on stranded wire for terminal blocks terminating a sloo of wires, need a perfect crimp repeatedly all morning which is why I was thinking ratcheting.

I don't know if you are working in a nuclear power house or the space shuttle but if you are not working in either of those environments I would look on Ebay. There are always several pages of T&B, Burndy, Panduit , Amp crimpers. As a matter of fact I just purchased a Panduit non-insulated controlled cycle tool that should be here tomorrow.
