you do very many generators Harry? there's just not that big of a need for them where I'm at, or I'm missing the boat.
Sales is a good thing but service is a great thing. Hospitals ,nursing homes, city and county buildings .fire stations, police stations, emergency shelters. The people who work at these places are potential customers.

I'm looking at dumping the Generac (poor customer service) dealership. Keep the Kohler dealership and add the Cummins brand.
Im a dealer for cummins and kohler. I went to their Newark office and spoke with someone there. They will send you a plie of papers to fill out. They are really on the ball over there...

I'm a dealer here right now sales only. Awesome product, really nice people unlike generac they do actually care. I am in the process of getting certified for service work done all the online classes just need to do the classroom ($$$$) stuff. There most recent class was a (5) day of $1500.00 (they have new Resi. product line and also updated their online training to make it more current). I am awaiting a reply on other classes and required materials to stock (if any). Their only problem is they are too nice they listed me as a service provider on their web site so I get calls for all kinds of stuff to service which I can't. When I talked to them they said (sorry but left me listed). Like I said too nice.
Generac has me waiting to be service provider approved and won't even tell me when I will be up and running. It's opposite totally opposite.

Cummins engines are the ONLY reason I own dodge trucks. You do pay for quality though. Not sure if I would be able to sell too many around here, but the service work sounds good.
