That sucks.
Everytime I come across one of those surprises, there’s never any real satisfaction in finding it, only irritation.

Now that’s funny. I like seeing that. This same building has a piece of liquid tight glued into pvc fittings.
Yeah, I wouldn’t have thought about it either. My buddy showed me that trick with a devious smile on his face.Apparently it works. I wouldn't have thought the sizes would work out, but someone figured it out.
That used to be common practice around here. Then one day the inspectors challenged the practice and nobody wanted to fight them. This same building has a piece of liquid tight glued into pvc fittings.
I'm sorry, but if it makes sense to you, you don't really understand it.I always thought pipe was id and tube was od. Emt is tube so it made sense to me
Carlon used to have it in their listed instructions for their Carflex but i think it was removed finally. That used to be common practice around here. Then one day the inspectors challenged the practice and nobody wanted to fight them.
Personally, if it's strapped secure, I don't see anything wrong with it, but I was taught by hacks. (no not hax)

You know how many times I’ve wanted to do this???!!!![]()
I heard about a guy that met a real hack that might glue sealtight into PVC fittings under the right conditions. He said it may not be in the instructions but it's a pretty strong connection. Somehow it's legal with ENT but not with LFNC.That used to be common practice around here.
