Does anyone have experience with direct burial triplex. What kind of protection is required in the ground and the transition from the ground to the building. thanks

Direct Burial

If you have rocks try and put a little sand around the wire on back-fill. That is if you want it to last. Turn up with a 90*(PVC

Not sure about CEC but here we have to protect it 18" below the surface and up. I run most of my URD in pipe because it pretty well guarantees that you won't have a failure down the road. We have too much frost etc. up here in the North. Another thing we have to be certain that's it's dual rated if we're running it into a structure.

PVC 90 & up is usually fine, but depending on accessiblity to hazards, rigid may be better.

Best to confirm with you local AHJ, as they will have the final say & you want to know before it's inspected.
