Do you guys warranty light bulbs in the fixtures you install?

I have a customer who wants some bulbs replaced in some recessed lights we installed back in November. He wants me to replace them for free. I say its a service call, and if he doesnt like it he can hire someone else.

No,
Not unless it an LED that was registered as a project and covered by the manufacturer.
I have replaced some giant CFLs that I recommended for a warehouse that were covered by the manufacturer.
I just hand delivered them to the customer.
Turned out that the fixture was trapping heat and ruined the lamps.
I kinda felt responsible as I didn't read the application requirements.
I also bought him some socket extenders, hand delivered.

We get a warranty from supply house. They go good for six months usually. Most jobs spec bigger jobs to leave ten percent extra. Seems like 1 out of fifty will be bad out of the box. When t8 s first came out, you would spend in new bulbs what you saved in energy. Getting better in last ten years.

Did you ever hear about the radioshack battery club? Join and they give you a battery every month. You just have to walk in the store to get it.
