Does anyone know how to put on the replacement handles on klien linesman pliers?

I can't figure it out, every time I try to put them on, they end up bunching up and twisting.

If they are the hard red type, you have to get them in some hot water, just at a low boil, get them to soften and slide them on.
If they are the various snug fitting type, use soapy water. They should slide on with little effort. Let them dry overnight.
