I have a small project where we are supposed to install a flashing light doorbell for the hearing impaired.
I really cannot find a source other than a wireless plug in unit.
I dont think this will pass.
I have seen something like this in a hotel recently but cannot locate a vendor.
One item I saw looked like they took a white 24 volt fire alarm strobe and embossed the word "Door" on the side of it. I would have to Frankenstein something together to make that work.
Has anyone here wired these in a hotel?
If so, what did they specify?

Also, the smoke detectors are supposed to have a flashing light on them. Not easy to find with a battery back up.

Has to be smoke and strobe in one unit. I cant find it with a battery.

They are line voltage and interconnectable.
Don't look ay them when you test. Bright as all hell.

As applies to assisted living, but it's been a while for me so i'd be old news no matter what

fwiw, they could install a big shoe that kicks some folks in the butt, and they'd still take all day to turn around.....
