Check out "EWP 2014 Electrical Wiring Pro"
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.intineo.android.ewp2014

I use it pretty frequently, super handy.
I agree.

I also use Nema Configuration Guide app by Summit Electrical Supply. Really handy (and free) app for figuring nema numbers for all the different receptacle configurations. The electrical wiring pro app has this feature built into it, but it's kinda half @ssed and doesn't have all the different configurations on it.

I have purchased a few apps like this for my guys but I do pop quizzes randomly to make sure they can still remember formulas etc without it.

That app has special pricing right now. I will wait until it is normal to buy it I want that guy to have all of my money.

Your point about the NEMA configs is well taken. I added the NEMA configs
for a reference, but all the "accurate-real" drawings were copyright-protected,
so the drawings in the app were hand-drawn by me, and I am not a
professional illustrator.

FWIW, I wrote the app because it's stuff I use everyday. I am *not* making
a ton of money on it -- making $$$ wasn't my original intent, so I am
perfectly OK with that. Basically, it pays for a few nice meals a week
- it's a good thing, but I have not turned it into a "real business."

I did have a major manufacturer of electrical gear approach me, but
it seemed like they wanted to turn the app into all advertising, so
the discussions never went any further.

Because of your comment, I raised it to the "regular" price of $3.99.
I could probably make more by charging more, but my preference
is that people use it for what they need.

Business is booming locally -- I have been real busy doing actual
electrical work -- so haven't done a ton of updates since the first
version of EWP 2014.
