Hello Everyone, I'm looking into getting into a trade, and hopefully become a contractor in the state of California. If anyone that has experience in getting there contractor license, will a bachelors degree help me shave off a few years in getting my contractor license? I'm trying to understand the degree the qualifies.. Im close to getting my bachelors...
A BA in what, education? Probably not. Your going to have to show documented work in the field. Your a long ways away, lots of times to go look up the regs on line. I believe Ca still has a state license for electrical contractors.
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and im just confused that will my EE degree qualify atleast for 3 years of experience. I have been working on the side for an electrical contractor while doing my studies.
