You guys got it ! My JW didn't !!! His excuse is the supply house gave it to him ! He is $28/hr. Did this job while I was in a hotel working out of town
We would have to redrill plate and roof to move the riser. If we left it, the meter jaws would be line and load upside down !!! Wonder if the smart meter would matter if the jaws are upside down
I have been a big fan of the weed laws in Cali for quite some time, I may have to rethink that seems ur boys toast, now just think what has he done that is hazardous that isnt in plain site... this is pretty classic though.
P.S. before you fire him ask what strain he smoked that day and let me know. Thanks
1) remove service wires
2) cut conduit below top plate
3) position panel as desired
3) bend offset as needed
4) install no thread coupling
5) re-install wiring
This still just freaks me out. Has this guy worked for you a while or is he new? California certified JM or just looks good on paper. I just can't wrap my head around even a helper left by them self would figure this isn't right.
Funny, I didn't even see the panel. I did, however, throw up in my mouth when I saw that twisted romex. For $28/hr, it should look more like this:
Ok, now let's address the meter. I hope he's good employee otherwise. An F-up like this better be a one-time deal! If he makes another mistake half that bad, he should be done.
That right there is one of the reasons I'm happier working an honest forty. Most people are stupid so you have to do everything yourself if you want it done right.
