I need to install a front and rear exterior outlets. The waterline peaked at 5' from earth. Do my exterior outlets need to be above 5' or can they go the usual 24" from the earth?

New York Rising has been busting chops over any wiring under the waterline, which is BS concerning what method one uses.

. Since it's a flood zone , is the house gonna be jacked up above the flood zone as well ? If not , I guess I can see your concerns for having GFCI receptacles 6' above grade , lol ! I don't think they can make you out them that high unless the whole structure is raised too ? Check with the inspector .
