A corded sawzall is still essential when doing real demolition. I don't use mine that much anymore, but it still comes in handy on those rare occasions.

I agree. or when doing a crapload of something (any one thing). my cordless sawzall has started to get finicky lately, and I think it's headed for the dumpster (I don't recall my milwaulkee ever doing that)

No I don't. I do so few that the last one I did I used a paddle bit and reciprocating saw and it seemed to work just fine.
