When about to feed 4 500's and a 1/0 ground through a 4" LB and somebody suggest feeding the wire in from the back and then down through the bottom what is the first thing that strikes you?
That unless it is very large LB that it is likely a violation regardless of which way you install it.When about to feed 4 500's and a 1/0 ground through a 4" LB and somebody suggest feeding the wire in from the back and then down through the bottom what is the first thing that strikes you?
listing? bending radius? That unless it is very large LB that it is likely a violation regardless of which way you install it.
What side of a conduit body is the 'bottom'? :blink:before they were to be pushed down through the bottom of the condulet.
Both, it will say inside the LB the max size and number of conductors.listing? bending radius?
I would call the "barrel" the bottom and the handle the "back" if you held the LB like a pistol. What side of a conduit body is the 'bottom'?
That is fine, you can do that but you and I both know that is completely arbitrary.I would call the "barrel" the bottom and the handle the "back" if you held the LB like a pistol.
It is. I looked it up. A mogul LB will take 6-500's though. That would be fun. That unless it is very large LB that it is likely a violation regardless of which way you install it.
If you have a non-arbitrary BBQ approved method of describing LB opening positions I would glady adopt it.That is fine, you can do that but you and I both know that is completely arbitrary.![]()
Well really I could not care any less which way up it is but in my view there is no 'right way' to feed wire into it. Each job has it's own situation. If you have a non-arbitrary BBQ approved method of describing LB opening positions I would glady adopt it.![]()
I don't know if I would say "just fine".:laughing:I've put 4 500s through 4" LBs probably a couple hundred times. Who gives a f*** what it has stamped on it. You, me, and everybody else here knows they fit just fine
People who have inspections and take some pride in their work. :whistling2:I've put 4 500s through 4" LBs probably a couple hundred times. Who gives a f*** what it has stamped on it. You, me, and everybody else here knows they fit just fine
