Csst bonding?
Depending on where you live, the inept or will say it's the plumbers job. Just run a #6 from a water clamp on the gas pipe to either the panel or another source of GEC
It's not CSST. HOpefully I can get a hold of him tomorrow. I'm thinking that maybe the house gas was never bonded and that is all he wants?

Do you mean the supply from the house or the drip tee at the generator after the rubber flex line if that's what the gas guy did.
I'm pretty sure it's bonded inside the generator, correct? It's a 17kw Generac. Would he want the bonding to jump the flex? I've never seen that.

I've had them make me bond furnaces because the gas guy used ward flex or gas tite piping even though the furnace is bonded through the cable feeding it. Never had them call me on a generator yet though .
Let us know what he wanted

the require bonding of the gas meter here, but only if flexible gas piping is used.

This is for water heaters, gas furnace, fireplace, or generator; if flexible gas piping is used at all, the require the bonding.

He wanted the pipe bonded to the ground rod with 6. It was about a 4' run and 2 minutes worth of work to make the inspector happy. I don't believe it's worth arguing over that code being for CSST.
