GL Insurance and CSST

Looked at a 48-unit townhouse complex for bonding the CSST. No biggie, but the board member I met with said he's called a dozen ECs for a bid and most of 'em say their insurance won't cover bonding CSST.

Anyone ever hear of this?

No I haven't... but even more curious is why an insurance company wouldn't cover something required by the IFGC.:blink:

I just got my renewal the other day, it came in PDF form. I searched thru it for "CSST" and "stainless" and nothing came up.

My guess is they just don't want to do the job.
