Greenlee DTAPKIT drill/taps

Here's a few pictures of the Greenlee drill/taps, sold under the part number DTAPKIT. Real handy. Drill and tap on the same bit. (For laughs, I chucked up every extension I have and put one of these drill/taps on the end. How else would you drill and tap a hole that far back inside something?)

All my guys carry these now, they make cleaning up finger prints off drywall or switchgear a breeze.

The older Klien soft orange grips (I HATE THEM) anyway they always looked cheezy when dirty, I use to wipe them off.

I have debated on whether to buy some Mr.Clean Magic Erasers, in any event. I wonder if they'd remove the little light grey marks that the torpedo level leave on a painted wall? A pencil eraser will not remove these marks, for some reason.

If anyone ever finds something that removes those marks, PASS IT ON! I'd sure like to know something that does.

However, if you wrap your level in that blue 3M tape painters use, it won't leave the marks for a short time. You have to be real careful when taping your level or you will throw it off.

Try these they really are magic. One of my mechanics brought them in and cleaned the bathroom wall switch covered in grease, graphite and dirt. He told me he used it to remove marker of the wall after his 3 year old son drew a mural. What have you got to lose.

I've taped mine up a few times, but it takes more effort than you'd first think. After a while, it always looks like this:

MArc that looks more like an IR pic than a real time photo.

Nope, just a regular ordinary Klein level with blue painter's tape on it. That's the old style Klein level. I see they have new one's with really strong neodymium magnets. Maybe my level will get lost, and I'll have to buy a new one. :whistling2:
