I I'm installing a circuit for a heater in a fire pump room and relocating a receptacle also. I noticed this morning a trailer in now anchored outside. It's a temp office for H&R block people. It's here every year. I return from a job interview and I run into 2 of our newer guys form our main electrical. One I already know and the other introduces himself. We talk and they ask if there is another guy in my shop with my name. I tell them no. Now the new guy gets quite and I wish them well and off I go inside.
It's a 100 amp 208/120 feed.

I just saw why they got quite and hurried up and finished.

New trailer temp power.

It is just going to lay across the snow and then under the snow for about 75' until after tax day.

It's just an SOOW cord for temp power.

Brass on aluminum is always doomed to failure.

All of our overhead services are tied in using brass split bolts on AL to CU connections.

No issues in the 14 yrs I have been in the trade.
