A friend had a neat old hair dryer... Shes artsy and wanted made into a lt...

Came out cool. Used led xmas lts inside and added a socket

Used a sptt sw for on-a, on-b,on-a/b, off

Before anyone mentions, yes i know, not UL listed... Blah blah blah

Yeah that thing is pretty cool. Who gives a damn about UL listing anyway..........probably the same guys on here who chop the end off an extension cord and throw two alligator clips on it so they can clamp on to live meter socket jaws for temp power.....

Wait........they probably got that cord tested and listed.:laughing:

I don't really like it (personal taste), but that is just awesome!

I love seeing old equipment, taken and re-used.. looks funky and that old stuff has character and styling. Way cool!

I like the look of it because it looks like it belongs in an old B sci-fi movie. Attack of the martian hairdressers or something like that:laughing:

Looks pretty neat if you are into that type of stuff, but I would have tried color changing LED tape.
I thought about led tape but a
Cheap led xmas lt set was
Avail and quick to aquire...

I drilled holes on the inner liner and hot glued them in place...
