O'Keefs is great, but I don't use it all the time. I also have s tub made by/for my local small apothecary that is the best hand lotion I have ever used. Other than that Lubriderm is a go-to for daily use.
I am also one who need to use it every day or my hands feel like tree bark.

Yes I have used Okeeffe's and it works great for me.
I have a tub at my work desk and a tub at home.
First you should take a small bowl and put a cup of table salt or sugar in it. Then put 1/2 cup of olive oil or some other kind of cooking oil. Mix it up and it should have a semi pasty consistency. You should have a 2:1 to 3:1 ratio of salt to oil. Use this mixture to scrub your hands for 30-45 seconds, you probably only need a tablespoon or so. This is going to remove beat up hardened skin. If you want to get fancy you can google up "salt scrub recipes" and make them smell like cedar or honey or whatever. My wife is into that stuff.

After that use a moisturiser like Glysolid or Herbacin. They aren't scented and fruity. You don't have to scrub all the time but once every week or two should keep them somewhat softer than they are now.

I used to use this stuff called Bigelowes from bath and body works, really good stuff.

Gold Bond, the brand Shaquille o'Neal has been advertising is great too.
"O'Keeffe's working hands" and "Udderly Smooth" are the best IMO.

Best hand lotion PERIOD is Dumont's No-Crack Super Hand Cream. Duluth Trading sells it, Restoration Hardware carries a limited selection, but the best place to buy it is http://www.nocrackcream.com/. Get the unscented Day Use in the 16oz container with the pump, along with the sampler pack to try the others.

You'll never buy another hand cream again.
I'm with CopperSlave.......bag balm works awesome. I've even used it on the heels of my feet which tend to get really dried out and crack badly.
My old man uses corn huskers salv. During the winter ill use good old Vaseline at night and put gloves on. The best for me.
Udder balm, the stuff actually made for cow udders. It can be found at any decent feed store or even on Amazon probably.

Thats exactly what Bag Balm was first created for.
I use Snap-On hand cleaner. It is made with soy bean oil and has crushed walnut shells in it. Cleans better than the other hand cleaners that have petroleum products and doesn't dry your hands out.
I used this 3m glue stuff for skin this winter when my finger split open pretty bad from dryness..right where I twist wirenuts on my index finger. It worked pretty well.
