Stumbled accross this forum and thought it would be a great place to learn more about the trade beyond the U.K.

I've been an electrician since completing my apprenticeship in 2001 and find it very interesting, with things allways changing.

My current work consists of Inspection & Testing of Local Government Buildings. I find it o.k. but I don't get to work on as many wiring systems as I used to

Amyways, enough for now,:clap::clap: HELLO ALL!

Hi Widdler.

You are a man to be admired. You must have the stamina of an ox and constitution of bull to spend your time Testing and Inspecting. Filling in those
NICEIC Forms drives me crazy.

Welcome and good to have another UK sparky on board.

Filling in those

Wasn't too bad a couple of years ago, but now we have to do minor works for the stupidest of little jobs. I mainly do the Periodic Domestic Inspection Reports (old DPN1) now, have at least 3 a day..

Drives me f:censored:g insane
