Welcome to the forum and PLEASE modify your post to include where in FLA....

It just simplifies post responses.

Welcome to the forum, fellow Floridian (not FullLoadAmps), just plain Florida, FL, USA.

Lott'a poop going around here. Some may wipe off on you!

Looked at your link, I see that 480 has already been there. Difficult to get ahead of him.

Best Wishes

Brian,

You have been beating this same drum for a while, don't know why the members do not catch on. Kind of a simple concept, huh?

Best Wishes
Actually the real issue here is I just a nosey SOB..

But as many of you are aware there is that all to common post that is location specific.
Welcome and Merry Christmas

I don't think your last statement is true for one minute. You are just attempting to save posting again, just to ask where the guy is. Sometimes location, location, location is everything. Are posters concerned about ID theft? Dunn'o.

Happy New Year and Best Wishes
Just a quick "Hello!" to all my fellow Electricians. Been serving the San Francisco / San Jose (Silicon Valley) area south to Modesto & the Central Valley area for 15 years. Hope there are some fellow Electricians in the area wanting to network, talk shop, etc... It has been an interesting ride, to say the least. Not sure if its been the economy that has made things take a turn for the worst in this area, but I have always considered a fellow electrician a friend. We may be competitors to some extent, but there is enough for us to all come up together, as opposed to coming up at the expense of our fellow brothers (and sisters) Electricians.

I'll be checking in here often, and look forward to communicating with all you. Enjoy the rest of your weekend!!

Welcome aboard:thumbup:
Hi All.
I am a semi retired electrician, once a contractor, have two electrical tickets, 309 and 442 in Ontario Canada, I'm located north of Toronto and currently teach at 3 colleges, in building environmental systems, and teaching a pre-apprenticeship course at 2 of the 3 colleges... I am currently creating a blog on how the consumer can save on their power bill and how to save on energy costs, although many people I noticed, just love to complain about the cost of power and not do much about it.. (typical).
Hello Everyone

I am from Alexandria Va , I 'm not sure if I belong on this form. My husband who is passionate about becoming electrian , signed up with local union in area our for apprenticeship program. He filled out application & paid money , for testing took the test, passed test , was expecting interview. Didn't ,hear anything. Went to office spoke with Asst Director only to be told that his paper work had been lost and the all interviews had been done in March or April. Supervisor apologized countless times told him to take the documentation to the his adm person who lost it and see what happens. They only take students once a year he signed up last yr. He was told he could get a interview in Sept but still can't start class until next July! He was suppose to be in 2015 class. He followed all the steps , what's your advice he really wants to be an electrician and get into the program . He/We are very hurt/ upset by this, but I'm reaching out to help my husband keep the dream alive. What do you advise ,Please help ! Thank you. He's even signed up for the residental program no yet. Bought some tools ! Shocked 6
