Hello all, I just got an e-mail directing me to this new site. I am excited to perticipate in some good discussions with other knowledgeable electricians.

I am an inspector as well as an electrical contractor and trades instructor here is Utah.

Just thought I would stop by and say HI.

I'm certain that I will end up being a night school instructor at some point in my career. It's something I've always wanted to do. I did substitute teach a few classes once. It was a ton of fun. What sorts of folks do you teach? Community college, adult night school, high school vocational students?

I teach at a vocational college, I teach the 3rd and 4th year apprentice electricians classes. I also teach continuing education for electricians.

I really enjoy teaching, I find that I learn almost as much from the students as they learn from me. It is a great way to help make sure that our profession continues to progress in the right direction.
