Let me know how you pulled that off. EC and Inspector? Have you ever inspected your own job? just kidding ..sort of

Supposedly, a large EC in Kentucky owns a very big company Electrical/HVAC "AND" is in the State Board of Electrical Inspectors for Kentucky as well.

Is that possible?? I won't name names here..

In Kentucky you can't be an Inspector, and a working Electrician at the same time, that is why my inspectors License in Inactive.

Kentucky has an Electrical Advisory Committee, the Governor appoints members from different aspects of the Electrical Industry to sit on this panel, for 4 years I think.

Normally there are a few inspectors, power company employees, large Electrical contractors, and small ones, Electrical Engineers. They make policy on state Electrical issues and recommend actions to the legislator if laws need to be modified, or created.
