I have to change out a circuit breaker panel for a local solar company. They are requireing a 200 amp main breaker , 40-42 position with a 225 amp rated busbar..I am having a hard time finding the panel with a 225 amp rated busbar...any thoughts

The panel bus does not need to be 225 amps if you will be using a 200 amp breaker.

''Panel'' includes plug in and bolt on style. Talk to the inside sales guys at the supply house, they can have a tub with guts built to spec in no time. look at section 690 for the rules regarding 125%.

I could be wrong about this, but are not most 240 v single phase 30-40 circuit loadcenters rated with a 225 amp busbar? I put plenty in and protect them at 200, but I remember seeing labels on the boxes stating 225 bus before.
