Help Solving Series/Parallel Circuits

Hi, just wonderin if anyone knows any easy ways to solving circuits when asked to find for example: the voltage total, resistor 1, Current total etc

R2 = 120 volts / 80 ohms = 1.5 amps

R1 = 2a + 1.5a = 3.5a x 50 ohms = 175v

so Vt = 120v + 175v = 295v.

use ohms law to solve all.

V = I X R.
