No ground all... Old 60s wire had to pull a new circuit. Homeowner didn't want it though

Could have put a gfi in. Or just grounded the outlet properly. Or did you need the extra cash.

thats what we do... install GFCI's. Way cheaper and NEC legal alternative if the HO doesnt want a rewire.

No I pulled a new circuit with GFCI. This was a pic of what I initially saw when I took the cover plate off. Had to take a picture bc I have never saw anything like this before.
